One of the critical points in the area of P. K. Yavorov Street, where systemic pollution and unregulated accumulation of waste were formed until recently, has now been completely transformed. On the spot of the old container, a modern eco-station for separate collection is installed, which will ensure the cleanliness and aesthetic appearance of the area.
The ecostation is a closed system that allows easy and hygienic waste disposal in four main categories: biodegradable waste, plastic and metal, paper and glass.
We kindly ask residents to use the station as intended, also in cases when they have failed to remove their waste on the specified day. We also ask that no sacks be left around the utility. Let’s show together that our city can be clean and welcoming!
We also remind about the main schedule for collection of waste from the household door, namely:
Yellow bags (for paper, plastic and metal) are collected from your door every Wednesday.
Gray sacks (for mixed household waste) are also collected every Wednesday.
Food waste and biodegradable waste are collected on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Important clarifications:
Yellow and gray bags are not to be placed in the brown bucket.
The brown bucket is for food and biodegradable waste only.
Yellow and gray bags are left separately, next to the bucket, so that they can be collected correctly (on Wednesday).
Bags and brown buckets (for those that are stowed in the yard) should be brought out in time in front of the front door.
