The presented goals, stages and results in Pomorie under the project for the implementation of an innovative approach in waste management, including door-to-door waste collection and the introduction of a new and fairer system for payment of the household waste service based on the amount of discarded waste, caused great interest among the attendees.

At a dedicated exhibition stand in the framework of the Municipal EXPO, team members and project partners presented the key activities and results. The visitors had the opportunity to get acquainted with the applied innovations and good practices, as well as to discuss opportunities for partnership and upgrading future initiatives. “Our participation in Municipal Expo 2025 is an excellent opportunity to share our experience and exchange ideas with other municipalities and experts. The LIFE project is only part of our long-term strategy for nature care”, commented the Mayor Ivan Alexiev.
